Danaher & Walsh, a Leicester-based civil engineering contractor and plant hire business, will now run Cat® Articulated Dump Trucks in its fleet after purchasing five Cat 730Cs from Finning UK & Ireland, the world’s largest dealer of Cat machines.
Since its formation in 1969, family-owned Danaher & Walsh has grown in both the plant hire and civil engineering sectors, winning Business of the Year at the 2015 East Midlands Chamber Leicestershire Business Awards. Having worked with Finning for seven years, the company now runs a total of 26 Cat machines, including 20 E Series excavators, and will now run its Cat 730C Articulated Trucks within its hire fleet to accommodate growing demand.
Lee Castledine, Plant Manager at Danaher & Walsh, said: “2015 has been a great year for us. We bagged the RoSPA Gold Award for health and safety for the sixth consecutive year, we’ve been recognised as one of the fastest growing businesses in the East Midlands and we’ve invested in new people to assist further growth.
“We’ve worked with Finning since 2008 and have operated Cat excavators within the hire fleet ever since. As part of our continued growth plan, we will run our five recently purchased 730C Articulated Trucks within the fleet and three more Articulated Trucks will join these in early 2016. It is important that that we can offer customers a diverse hire fleet, which includes all of the latest plant hire machinery.”
