J K Ashbrook Ltd Take Delivery Of 100th Cat From Finning

Cheshire-based plant hire and groundworks contractors, J K Ashbrook Ltd, has taken its total of Cat® machines to one hundred, after its recent purchase of two brand new Cat D6K2 LGP track-type tractors. The new machine will complement the other Cat machines on the company’s fleet and will help customers improve fuel economy up to 22%.

Dedicated to investing in machinery and technology to help reduce customer-operating costs, J K Ashbrook has a varied fleet of Cat machines including excavators up to fifty tonnes, backhoe loaders, telehandlers, rollers and dump trucks.

Equipped with Cat AccuGrade™ Laser Grade Control and Stable Blade Control technology, the Cat D6K2 combines operator blade control input to deliver unmatched finish grading performance and improved fuel economy, delivering huge savings to J K Ashbrook Ltd’s customers’ bottom line. Not only does Stable Blade Control help to increase productivity, it also helps prevent operator effort and fatigue for health and safety.

Managing Director James Ashbrook established J K Ashbrook Ltd in 2005 when he started out with one tractor on local agricultural contracts. Since then, the company has developed and grown by diversifying into groundworks contracting, operated and self-drive plant hire. It has partnered with Finning for over a decade.
