In 1933, Earl B. Finning established the company that bears his name. Though based in western Canada for most of our history, we are now present in six countries around the world, employing over 12,000 people. Finning's association with Caterpillar Inc. (the world's largest and most recognised heavy equipment manufacturer) goes back even further and today we can proudly say that we are Caterpillar's largest dealer, and continually strive to be their best global business partner.

We provide customized equipment Solutions to some of the most important and essential industries around the world such as the: Mining, Construction, Energy, Forestry and Materials Handling Industries, to name just a few. We provide these Solutions through the sale, rental and financing of Caterpillar products and Finning customer support Services. As Caterpillar's family of quality brands grows, we keep pace, offering our customers virtually the complete line of Caterpillar products to meet their needs.

Finning is comprised of five, fully owned, business units: Finning Canada, Finning South America, Finning UK, Hewden and Power Systems. We are headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and are a widely held, publicly traded corporation, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
