Update Your Data Authorization – Your Data, Your Control.

ACTION REQUIRED BELOW:

As part of our ongoing commitment to respecting your data rights, we strive to be transparent with you about how we collect, use and disclose your data. In that regard, we have updated our data authorization agreements and process.  

If you have not already done so, please complete the data authorization agreements. There are two Data Authorization agreements: one for Caterpillar and one for Finning. The Caterpillar Data Authorization agreement authorizes Caterpillar to collect and use your telematics data from your Caterpillar equipment for the purposes of providing services including but not limited to remote monitoring, fleet management, condition monitoring and other value-added services. Similarly, the Finning Data Authorization agreement authorizes Finning to collect, use, and disclose your data in accordance and for purposes set out in our Data Governance Statement.

Immediate Action Required 

If the new Data Authorization agreements are not completed, the following may occur:

• Where applicable, we may need to suspend the collection of telematics data from your equipment. This may impact certain services that we provide to you including remote monitoring, customer value agreements, fleet management, condition monitoring and other value-added services. 

• We may need to permanently delete your telematics data. 

Who Can Sign?

An authorized signatory is an individual with the authorization to bind the company and sign agreements on the company's behalf.

To avoid these outcomes, as the authorized signatory, please follow one of the two options below: 

Option 1: Sign via CUBIQ Dealer Services

  1. Log into CUBIQ and go to the My Documents app.
  2. Review the Data Authorization Agreements.  Under the document tabs, you will find a Data Authorization agreement for Caterpillar and a Data Authorization agreement for Finning. Please review both forms. 
  3. Accept and Sign. Once you have reviewed the agreements, please click on the boxes to acknowledge acceptance and proceed to eSign using Adobe Acrobat.  

If you have questions, do not have access to CUBIQ or do not see the My Documents app available to you when you login, please contact digitalservices@finning.com.

 

Option 2: Sign via your Finning Rep

  1. Contact your Finning Product Support sales representative and request a link to signoff on your organizations Digital Authorization agreement.
  2. Review the Data Authorization Agreements.  You will find a Data Authorization agreement for Caterpillar and a Data Authorization agreement for Finning. Please review both forms. 
  3. Accept and Sign. Once you have reviewed the agreements, please click on the boxes to acknowledge acceptance and proceed to eSign
