Neal Lamont was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Finning International Inc. in January 2026. Mr. Lamont oversees the enterprise wide technology landscape, ensuring IT, Digital and Caterpillar solutions are deployed, operated, secured and advanced to support long term business objectives; he also leads enterprise strategy development. Since joining Finning in 2007, Mr. Lamont has held technology, operational and transformation leadership roles across the organisation, including Global Service Transformation Program Manager and Vice President of Information Technology. Prior to Finning, Mr. Lamont began his career in project delivery at BT Wholesale and served as IT lead for Vehicle Engineering at Jaguar Land Rover in 2014 before returning to Finning in 2015 to lead IT in the UK and Ireland.
Mr. Lamont holds a Bachelor of Science in Politics from the University of Southampton and a Master of Science in Management of Information Technology from the University of Nottingham.
