RECOMENDATIONS
BOARD VISIT 2025, please follow these tips:
Make sure to save migration ticket from the PDI
when entering Chile, as they will ask for it when you leave.
Always carry a copy of your Passport.
Chile is a seismic country that is always prepared to face unexpected telluric movements. In the event of seismic activity, it is important to:
- Keep calm and identify safe, protected areas.
- Stay away from windows and elements that could fall.
- If you are in the street, stay clear of buildings, posts, power lines and trees.
Do not drink tap water. Although it is potable and suitable for human consumption, you must get accustomed to it gradually, as it could potentially cause an upset stomach. Stay hydrated drinking bottled mineral or purified water.v
Protect yourself from ultraviolet radiation (UV)
by using sunscreen and adequate clothing.
Do not risk your personal safety. If using personal ground transport, do so with official transport. Remember to be cautious in crowded areas.
Use safe Wi-Fi networks, to protect your personal and financial information.
Avoid connecting to unprotected public networks.
