Terms and conditions

Our CVA Services Commitment (“the Commitment”) demonstrates our dedication to support customers with parts availability and machine uptime. The Commitment is available exclusively to Customer Value Agreement (“CVA”) customers and applies only to CVA-registered machines. Participation is strictly subject to the Customer entering into a CVA with full Terms & Conditions. Parts Availability Commitment

Finning guarantees next-day availability of Maintenance, Wear, and Common Repair Parts (“the Parts”).

  • When an order acknowledgement is issued by Finning by 4pm on a Business Day, the Parts will be available for collection at your local Finning branch by the end of the next Business Day.
  • If Finning does not meet this commitment, you will receive a credit (“the Credit”) equivalent to the net value of the delayed Parts, subject to a limit of €1000 per order.

Important:

  • Applies only to Parts not already covered by Warranty or an EPP.
  • Specific exclusions apply—speak to your Finning representative for details on eligible Maintenance, Wear & Common Repair Parts.
  • Finning is not liable for delays in the delivery of Parts from the Finning branch to the Customer’s premises or any other destination nominated by the Customer.

Service Completion Commitment 

For eligible customers with labour-inclusive CVA agreements;

Common Repairs

Finning will confirm whether the required work qualifies as a Common Repair—defined as a repair that will take one engineer less than 12 Working Hours to complete, including travel.

Finning guarantees completion of Common Repairs within two Business Days (as agreed by both Finning and the Customer at the time of order authorisation).

Major Repairs

Finning will confirm whether the repair qualifies as a Major Repair—defined as a repair that will take one engineer 12 or more Working Hours to complete, including travel.

Finning guarantees completion of Major Repairs by the Planned Completion Date—a date agreed by Finning and the Customer and set at the point of order authorisation.

If Finning fails to complete:

  • a Common Repair within two Business Days, or
  • a Major Repair by the Planned Completion Date,

the Customer will receive a Credit of €1000 per work order.

Important:

Customers can receive either a Parts Availability Credit or a Service Completion Credit per work order, not both. The Credit constitutes the Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for Finning’s failure to meet the Parts Availability Commitment or Service Completion Commitment, and Finning shall have no further liability arising from such failure.

Finning may amend, suspend, or withdraw this promotion at any time, at its sole discretion, and without prior notice.

Definitions:

Business Day: Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Working Hours: 08:00–17:00 on a Business Day.

Credit: Redeemable against eligible parts and services purchased over the counter, online via parts.cat.com, or in the Cat Central App. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
