Casepak’s four Cat® Skid Steer Loaders have reached approximately 40,000 hours combined operation time.

The Leicester-based cardboard and plastics recycling facility has one 246C and three 246D Skid Steer Loaders, each of which has secured around 10,000 hours operation time. Casepak also has two 930K Wheel Loaders, which are a part of the ‘Just Add Diesel’ package, along with a further 930H Wheel Loader and TH215 Telehandler.

Ben Grundy, Business Infrastructure Manager at Casepak, said: “We have always had a close partnership with Finning, it’s not just the reliability of the machines, but the reassurance and complete repair and maintenance package that makes Finning such an attractive partner. We know that they are on hand 100 per cent of the time to assist us.

“The Cat 246C and 246D Skid Steer Loaders are both extremely versatile and reliable; it has reduced our downtime significantly and we’re so pleased that we’ve been able to reach 10,000 hours of operation time in such a harsh environment.”

Along with the Skid Steer Loaders, the Cat 930K Wheel Loaders are also renowned for reliability and the capacity to move loose material with ease. Due to the diesel particulate filter system, which is matched and installed as per the machines’ anticipated lifespan, operators will not be required to interact with the engine at any point.
