Following the announced merger of the One Call Hire and Fork Rent in August 2016, a press report in the Construction Index has revealed that the new name for the business will be Ardent Hire Solutions. In an announcement from the business, which has £160m to spend on fleet investment over the next three years, a total of 5,000 machines will be available for hire, some of which include Caterpillar equipment, supplied by Finning.
Ardent Hire Solutions will have a total of 12 depots, with another three to be opened this year. The operations HQ will be based in the former Fork Rent premises in Ipswich, while the management HQ will be based in One Call’s location in Enfield.
