Finning Establishes Keyano College Endowment Fund

Finning has announced a significant investment and long-term commitment to Keyano College and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo through the establishment of the Finning Canada Endowment Fund. Finning’s $100,000 donation over four years, will provide for the sustained funding for four annual awards for students enrolled in programs at Keyano College. “At Finning, our focus is on building and powering a better world.  I can’t think of a better way to do that, than investing in education today and into the future,” says Brent Davis, VP oil sands and mining solutions. “That’s the reason we established the Finning Canada Endowment Fund. This fund allows us to provide on-going support to students that can help them realize their dreams and achieve their goals for years to come”.

The $100,000 donation for the endowment will be supplemented by an additional donation of $8,000 annually for the next four years to provide four interim annual awards of $2,000 for a total investment of $132,000. Going forward, four endowed awards of $1,250 each will be provided annually.
