Finning’s social media channels are spaces where we promote our business, share information, engage in respectful dialogue, and debate issues that matter to our company, employees, and customers.

Our community guidelines below outline what we will and won’t allow on our company-managed channels. We would ask you to read and follow them.

Keep it Clean: Attacks against our employees, partners, customers, or other commenters will not be tolerated. Any abusive posts, such as posts that contain threats, profanity, or verbal abuse, will be removed.

Spam Free Zones: It is not okay to post untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including but not limited to unsolicited private or public messages promoting non-Finning related businesses, projects or special deal or programs, or political content including campaign promotion.

We say no to trolls: Stay relevant and on topic. Derailing conversations or posting intentionally inflammatory comments is not allowed on our channels.

Hateful Content: We do not support content that incites hate or promotes violence against individuals or groups for any reason, including based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, sexual orientation, gender expression, or gender identity. Posts that contain hateful content will be removed.

Copyright and Intellectual Property: Respect copyright and intellectual property rights of other parties.  Do not upload or include posts containing images, videos, or content that you do not have the right to post.

Watch your Content: We don’t tolerate libelous statements or comments that contain false or unsubstantiated allegations or disclosure of confidential information not previously disclosed through proper channels. We reserve the right to remove any such statements or comments.
