Since the 1980s, Elphinstone has been a driving force in building robust Load-Haul-Dump vehicles that the Cat Dealership network have been proud to market and support.
Elphinstone is again taking their position as an authorized Caterpillar OEM with 45 years of experience to build out a portfolio of underground utility equipment with Cat components and systems in its DNA.
Finning is proud to present the Elphinstone underground product line. Combined with Finning’s supply chain, branch network, and dedicated mining field teams, we are in a position to support the components and systems in a seamless operation for all our customers.
Finning technicians are trained on these systems, our parts team knows them inside and out and we have robust supply and parts stocking already in place. End to end, the Elphinstone product is supported by Finning and Caterpillar.
With sustainability at the forefront of customer’s minds, Elphinstone has begun developing a suite of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) for underground hard rock mining to address the increasing decarbonization efforts and expectations of the global customer base. This will enable Finning to support our customers as they work to achieve their ESG targets along with our Caterpillar solutions such as the hybrid R2900XE and full battery R1700XE.
