Cat® Services Commitment with CVA

For eligible construction industry customers with machines on a Customer Value Agreement (CVA), Finning offers a Services Commitment Program* to guarantee the availability of your genuine Caterpillar parts.  As part of our services commitment with a CVA, your maintenance and common repair parts will be available when you need them.  If they’re not, Finning will help cover the costs by crediting you up to $1,000.

  • If you need a maintenance part as soon as the end of the next business day and we can’t get it to you, you will receive a prepaid credit for the value of the part up to $1,000. 
  • For customers with a CVA that includes Finning performed services, repair parts will be available as soon as the end of the second business day and if we can’t get it to you, you will receive a prepaid credit for the value of the part up to $1,000.

For eligible customers enrolled in a CVA that includes Finning performed services, the Services Commitment Program includes a Service Response Time commitment which will ensure that eligible customers receive:

  • Same day confirmation of the scheduled services
  • Begin scheduled service by your confirmed date
  • Diagnostics Before Arrival
    • Finning will leverage all available data and processes, where applicable, to ensure that issues can be addressed as quickly as possibly
  • Progress Updates
    • Updates as to when your machine is being serviced and how soon it will be back up and running

*Services Commitment Program is for eligible customers with new or renewed CVAs as of September 1, 2022 and covers eligible Caterpillar machine models enrolled in a CVA only.  Credit amount is in Canadian dollars.
