PPE Required
Participants must provide their own safety glasses, steel-toed footwear, gloves, hard hat, hearing protection, and coveralls with Hi-Visibility Markings.

After completion of the course, the participant should be able to:
• Locate and identify all the major D10 track type tractor machine components
• Locate and identify all filters, dipsticks, indicators, fill tubes, drains, and test points
• Locate and identify the major components and explain operation of the C27B engine along with the Tier 4 Final emission solution.
• Trace the flow of fuel, oil, air, coolant and NRS (NOx Reduction System) throughout the engine
• Trace the flow of oil throughout all hydraulic components and explain operation
• Understand and be able to test the new load sensing hydraulic system and how each component corresponds with the entire system
• Explain and test the new hydrostatic fan circuit
• Explain operation of the new torque divider with stator clutch and powertrain transmission
• Perform testing and adjusting on the powertrain and braking system
• Locate all controls in the new operator’s station
• Explain the operation of the new tractor features
• Understand the correlation between different ECMs and next generation electrical system on the machine
