Contest Rules
The following rules apply to the FINNING COMMUNITY VALUES Campaign contest (the “Contest”).
There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. Some restrictions do apply to be eligible to enter or win.
In the event that Finning (Canada) a division of Finning International Inc. (“Finning (Canada)”) is barred or prohibited to run this contest, Finning (Canada) will void the contest if needed, without warning.

1. Eligibility
To be eligible to enter to win the contest, you:
* Must reside in the Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan or British Columbia;
* Must be 18, or alternatively the “age of majority in which contestant resides”
* Must not be an employee, director, agent, or contractor of Finning (Canada) or its subsidiaries or affiliates (which means a company in which Finning International Inc. has a controlling interest; and
* Must not live in the same household as an employee, director, agent, or contractor of Finning (Canada) or its subsidiaries or affiliates (which means a company in which Finning International Inc. has a controlling interest.
2. How You Can Enter
Entries will be received between 12:00 a.m., Saturday, September 14 and ends at 11:59 p.m., Sunday, February 23. All eligible entrants must text “FINNING” to 76000, visit the corresponding landing page (www.finning.com/AJHL) and provide all required information to qualify to any contest prize. Limit of 1 text entry per person.
3. Contest Period
The contest period begins on 12:00 a.m. MST, Saturday, September 14 and ends at 11:59 p.m. MST, Sunday, February 23.
4. Participation
Your participation in the FINNING COMMUNITY VALUES Campaign contest is your consent for Finning (Canada), or its agents, to collect and use your name, address and other personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest. Unless you decide to opt out from receiving email notifications from Finning (Canada), which can be indicated when filling out the entry form, you are also signifying your consent for Finning (Canada) to communicate with you (during the FINNING COMMUNITY VALUES Campaign activity and for other uses by Finning (Canada) as permitted by law. Finning (Canada) is not responsible for lost, or incomplete entries as a result of, technical or mechanical malfunctions; computer hardware or software; or inaccurate entry information whether caused by equipment, programming used in the Contest, human processing error, or otherwise.
Finning (Canada) reserves the right, and discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant whom we believe has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of this Contest or for any other reason. Automated entry systems, in any form, are prohibited.
5. Prize(s)
Regional prizes will be awarded randomly at the discretion of Finning (Canada). Prizes cannot be exchanged for a cash equivalent. If the prize is unavailable for any reason, or if winner does not qualify, for any reason, Finning (Canada) reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value to the prize award.
Regional prizes will be distributed or shipped by Finning (Canada) following the selection of the winner.
6. Winner Selection
Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries we receive during the contest. Winners will be selected in a random draw following each event (listed above) from among all eligible entries received. Finning (Canada)’s winner selection, and decisions will be final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest.
Within the first two business days after the draw, Finning (Canada) will attempt to contact the winner up to (3) three times by email and phone. If the winner cannot be contacted during that time their prize will be forfeited and another winner will be drawn. Once contacted, the winner must correctly answer a mathematical, time-limited, skill testing question to win.
7. Miscellaneous Rules
a. Prizes cannot be substituted for another prize.
b. Any taxes and any other expenses not specified herein are the winner’s sole responsibility. The winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release within 7 days of issuance of prize notification. If we are unable to contact the winner to notify him or her of the Contest result, the winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Noncompliance with any of the rules as outlined in this Contest may result in disqualification.
c. Finning (Canada) has the right to disqualify any entry or entrant, and to modify, terminate or suspend this Contest. Finning (Canada) is the only and final arbitrator (this means referee or judge) of any disputes regarding this Contest, any entry and/or any official rule or eligibility requirement.
d. All entries become the property of Finning (Canada), and Finning (Canada) assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries.
e. Entrants may be required to provide reasonable proof that they meet the requirements of the Contest.
8. Agreement, Consent and Release
By participating, entrants and Winner agree:
a. to follow these Official Rules, and
b. Finning (Canada), as well as Finning (Canada)’s subsidiaries, agents and sponsors, have the right and permission to use the entrants and Winner’s name, voice, place of residence, photograph (and or/likeness), as well as any statements the entrant or Winner made regarding the prize, for: advertising, and/or trade, and/or any other purpose worldwide, forever and ever, and in any other media or format, without any form of compensation, permission, or notification, and
c. Finning (Canada), and Finning (Canada) subsidiaries and agents, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, successors and assigns shall have no liability and will be held harmless by entrants and winner(s) for any liability, loss, injury, claim, or damage to themselves or any other person or entity, including but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to personal or real property, to entrant, winner(s) (and guest if applicable) or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this Contest.
