Consistent quality and quantity of sleep is critical to human health, safety and operational performance. The Cat Smartband, powered by Fatigue Science, is a watch that can help you understand the connection between your operator sleep, fatigue and accident risk on and off the job site. This wearable technology helps manage fatigue by automatically detecting an employee's sleep and wake periods and converts data into an effectiveness score – viewable by the employee at any time with the push of a button. If a score is approaching 70% – the employee is considered to be fatigue impaired.
