2. By taking part in this Competition, an entrant is agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. If an entrant does not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, they should not enter this Competition.
3. The Competition will run from 16th December 2019 until midnight on 31st December 2019 (''Closing Date'') and is open to UK and Ireland residents over the age of 18.
4. The Competition is not open to employees of Finning UK, Finning Ireland or any employees within their related group of companies.
5. In order to enter this Competition, entrants need to post a comment on the Competition post with the name of the model of Cat machine that is underneath the wrapping paper
6. If the entrant deletes the Facebook comment prior to the Closing Date, then the submission will not be considered. The Promoter cannot accept any entries received after the Closing Date.
7. The names of the entrants who submit a correct entry prior to the Closing Date will be entered into a draw and the winner will be chosen at random.
8. The winner will receive a voucher to the value of £500 (“the Prize”) which can be redeemed against purchases of all genuine Cat merchandise on https://www.finning-cat.co.uk/Index up to 31st March 2020. Standard delivery charges may apply.
9. The Promoter will tag the winner on the Competition post on Facebook and the winner must respond and communicate with the Promoter to provide sufficient details to enable the Promoter to issue the Prize to them. In the event that the winner does not get in touch with the Promoter within 14 days of being tagged on Facebook, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative random winner of the Prize from all other proper and valid entries that were received prior to the Closing Date. Failure to claim the Prize by the time or in the manner specified will make any claim to the Prize invalid.
10. The Prize is not transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available.
11. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equivalent value.
12. Accepting the Prize may give rise to a tax liability which will be the winner's responsibility.
13. It is a condition of entry that the winner cooperates fully for publicity purposes if so required. By entering the Competition the winner agrees for their name and photograph to be included in future publicity material if so required by the Promoter.
14. Any entries posted on the Finning Equipment Solutions Facebook Page must be in accordance with the standards set out in the Promoter's House Rules.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose this Competition without prior notice in the event that unforeseen circumstances make this unavoidable. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or select an alternative winner in the event the Promoter believes that any entrant has contravened any of these terms and conditions.
16. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting a Prize.
17. The Promoter's decision is final and binding.
18. The law of England & Wales applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of England & Wales shall prevail.
