Balancing your desired productivity or penetration with the wear-life of your system is critical. Excessive wear material on the G.E.T. can reduce productivity and increase fuel burn in low impact or low abrasion applications. However, insufficient wear material in high impact or high abrasion applications can have the same effect, as well as increasing stress and wear on major components. Cat hydraulic excavator G.E.T. are designed as a balanced system to increase life and productivity while minimising drag and fuel burn.
