We are glad to announce that we have become the proud owner of the rental activities of Caterpillar power equipment in our region. Through strategic review the shareholders of power equipment rental company Energyst have decided to split the current structure of the company and convert its operating rental activities into four separate regional organisations. This means that Finning UK & Ireland will carry out the rental activities for Caterpillar power generation and temperature control in The United Kingdom and Ireland. The other new owners are: Zeppelin (Germany / Sweden), Pon Equipment and Pon Power (PEPP) (Benelux / Norway) and Finanzauto (Spain / Mediterranean).
The decision to split the current structure intends to unlock new investment capability and growth potential in response to the increasing market demand for rental instead of ownership, accompanied by a growing demand for the ‘Real Energy’ solutions which have become the trademark proposition for Energyst. We now have more autonomy and opportunity to better meet the demands of our customers, with more room to improve our market proposition and develop the regional market for customized rental projects.
