THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29 TH, 2015

Northwest plant hire specialists Casey Plant has continued its commitment to technology, reliability and performance by investing in two new Cat® D6T LGP dozers in a £450,000 deal with UK and Ireland Caterpillar dealer Finning.

The two new machines, which feature the latest EU Stage IIIB certified Cat C9.3 ACERT engine, have already been out to work following delivery to Casey Plant’s Rochdale headquarters. The Cat D6T’s low ground pressure (LGP) functionality means the machine is ideal for brown field site developments. The machine’s versatility also allows operations to execute a number of functions including highway and road construction, building oil/gas/wind farm pads and landfill site work.

Included in the deal, supported by Cat Finance, was a three-year/6,000 hour service and maintenance package, enabling Casey Plant to utilise Finning’s UK wide network of Finning branches, wherever the machines are stationed. Finning’s Finsight team of engineers will also be supporting the Casey machines, using telematics to send real time data reporting on machine productivity, fuel efficiency and utilisation.

Alan Blazys, Finning Sales Representative, commented on the deal: “The diversity of the Cat D6Ts makes it the ideal choice for the plant hire market, as it can be used in numerous applications. The service support package we have put together means that Casey Plant will have access to up to date information on the health and productivity of their machines, with Finsight engineers on hand to also identify any preventative maintenance needs.
