UK Firsts For Flannery In £16m Caterpillar Fleet Deal With Finning

National UK plant hire specialist, P Flannery Plant Hire Ltd has invested in 148 Cat® machines with Caterpillar dealer Finning, in a deal worth £16 million.

The fleet deal includes Cat D6T dozers and the first time the business has invested in Caterpillar general construction telehandlers.

The new equipment will be delivered throughout 2015, with each unit benefitting from the Finsight equipment monitoring solution, helping to optimise machine health and productivity. Flannery customers will also be able to benefit from the advanced fuel efficiency of the new fleet and the range of attachments available for the telehandlers.

The Flannery fleet deal comprises of a variety of Cat mini, medium and large hydraulic excavators, the new general construction telehandlers, 730C and 740B articulated dump trucks and D6T dozers. Cat Finance has also been utilised by Flannery as part of the package, a long with 3 year/6000 hour warranty and service support on a number of the machines.

Commenting on the deal, Flannery Director, Patrick Flannery, said: “This latest deal with Finning is the first time we have invested in Caterpillar general construction telehandlers. We have seen increased demand in the Cat TH414 model category in particular, as the market picks up. In addition we have seen the demand for dozers coming back.”
