Finning offers a range of training and  Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses for your Cat® generator.

In House Training

From operator training and fault finding through to full strip down and repair for more experienced engineers, you can choose from a wide portfolio of proven training courses. Finning has its own in-house training department with highly-skilled trainers who can adapt the courses to suit your individual requirements – from classroom-based tutorials through to hands-on, practical sessions in our own training workshops.

Caterpillar Training

At the Caterpillar demonstration and learning centre in Malaga, we can offer a wide range of seminar, workshop and equipment demonstrations to help share our expertise and capabilities with you.

CPD Courses

We also offer Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses, providing an overview of the factors and considerations when designing, specifying and configuring generators. Accredited by the CPD Standards Office* and delivered by experienced power generation technical engineers, these free short courses can be delivered at a Finning branch or onsite at your office. 

* Please note the above four courses are the only courses that Finning offer that are accredited by the CPD Standards Office.
